We are delighted to announce the launch of our Junior Board, a dynamic community of young professionals committed to supporting Project Rousseau’s mission. Members of the Junior Board will advocate for Project Rousseau students from communities with the greatest need in New York City and across the United States. Using their energy, expertise, and networks, Junior Board Members will support the areas of Project Rousseau’s work that are most relevant to their own interests and experience.
The Project Rousseau Junior Board is an extraordinary group of young professionals from different industries, backgrounds and countries and we are extremely grateful that they have come together to impact the lives of our students.
Johanna serves as the Chairwoman of Project Rousseau’s Junior Board. She currently serves as Co-Founder and Vice President of the PropTech Association, which works to bridge the gap between the real estate industry and tech start-ups. Johanna has years of experience in the services industry and in hedge funds, having worked in both the UK and in Switzerland.
Johanna is a graduate of McGill University, where she received her BA in Economics and Political Science, and of The London School of Economics, where she received her MSc with merit in International Political Economy.
Chad serves as Associate Director for Strategy and Finance at The Orchard, a Sony Company. Prior to joining The Orchard, Chad worked in Investment Banking at The Macquarie Group. At the Macquarie Group, Chad led an effort for Project Rousseau during the Group’s Foundation week, which has since become an annual tradition.
Chad began volunteering with Project Rousseau in 2011 when he was an undergraduate student at NYU. Chad served as a mentor for his entire undergraduate career and as NYU Chapter President for two years. His commitment to Project Rousseau has since continued, now as a member of the Junior Board.
Chad earned his undergraduate degree from NYU’s Stern School of Business. He is a participant in MLT.
Rui-Min is part of Partner's Group Private Real Estate investing business unit, and is based in New York. Prior to joining Partners Group, she worked at Bain & Company and the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics and Management from Oxford University.
Caroline Crochet serves as Director of CJC Advisors SA. Prior to joining CJC Advsiors, she had extensive experience in banking in the UK and Switzerland.
Caroline is a graduate of Cass School of Business in London.
Carolina works in relationship management at Stonehage Fleming. Previously, she worked at CitiBank and other family offices. Carolina is the co-founder of Ameseganello, an NGO that has worked to build a school in Alamata, Ethiopa.
Carolina is a graduate of the Business School of Lausanne, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Business magna cum laude.
Joshua is a dynamic five- year NFL veteran. Martin has played outside linebacker for the New York Jets since 2015. At just 25, this Texas native is consistently devoted to bettering himself, as well as the lives of his teammates and his world. The oldest of six kids, Martin first discovered his love of football during his freshman year at Cherokee Trail High School. He went on to receive an Ivy League education from Columbia University, where he was deemed 2012’s Most Valuable Player of the year.
Just as he set a good example for his younger siblings, Martin strives to be a role model for his fans. His volunteer work tackles much of his time away from the turf – he is an active volunteer for NFL PLAY 60 and a supporter of Project Rousseau.
Emmanuel Mensah, MD, MBA is a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston, as well as a clinician at Tema General Hospital in Ghana. He also works as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
Originally from Ghana, he completed high school in Ghana and Canada. He then graduated from Dartmouth College with a double major in Biology and Mathematics. After college, he earned a joint MD/MBA at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School. He completed residency in Internal Medicine at BIDMC.
Ginelle serves as Foundation Assistant at GMA Foundations in Boston, MA, where provides administrative and grantmaking support to 8 GMA clients. Her clients include private family foundations, independent foundations, and public charities, with causes ranging from opportunity youth, women and children, to health and environmental projects in the Greater Boston area and worldwide.
She also supports the Director of Communications with GMA Foundation’s communications and marketing.
Ginelle previously worked at the Roosevelt Foundation in the Netherlands and the Benedict Silverman Foundation in Connecticut. Originally from the Netherlands, she studied sociology, international law, and international relations, with a particular interest in human rights at the University College Roosevelt in the Netherlands.
Ginelle is excited to use her experience in philanthropy as well as her international and academic background, to contribute to Project Rousseau’s efforts to help empower youth to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
Ashley is very excited to be a part of Project Rousseau's Junior Board since creating opportunities for deserving students has always been close to her heart.
After earning a degree in Economics from Columbia University, Ms. Zambito has worked in finance and hopes to impart valuable lessons learned in the industry to Project Rousseau's students. She recently joined MHR Fund Management, a boutique private equity fund with $5.5 billion under management, to spearhead the fund's business development and investor communication initiatives. Ms. Zambito previously was an investment banking associate at Gordian Group focused on special situation financial advisory.
Ms. Zambito was also captain of Columbia's NCAA Division I Women's Golf Team and still enjoys playing when possible.
